Pure product is white crystalline solid. m.p.118～119℃(120℃), solubility: ether 77g/100mL, ethanol 153g/100mL, hexane 0.5g/100mL, toluene 6.2g/100mL, xylene 4.9g/100mL, water 0.0825g/100mL.Industrial product m .p.99～107°C, with phenol odor.

Hormone-type selective herbicide, easily absorbed and conducted by roots and leaves. Used in rice and other grass crops fields, post-emergence prevention and control of a variety of annual or perennial broadleaf weeds and certain monocotyledonous weeds. It is effective in killing   broadleaf grass and three pike grass, but ineffective in barnyard grass weeds. The use dose is 0.28~2.25kg active ingredient/hm2. it has effect on broad-leaved crops such as cotton, soybean, melon and vegetable.
